So after a bit of thinking and recent feedback from my fellow classmates, I believe I need to narrow and focus my theme. While I would like to capture a large comprehensive perspective of childhood and the joy it entails, for this project specifically, I plan to focus on every day occasions. I think these are the occasions that are most often taken for granted. Playing in the backyard, bubble baths, climbing trees, etc. What I love about children is that they don't require a great deal of material possessions, a cardboard box and some crayons magically becomes a castle and with two sticks and duel can occur.
I have uploaded two new contact sheets. I am excited about a few of these pictures, in particular the ones on the rope swing and the little girls climbing the fence.
